A child arrangements order deals with who the child is to live, spend time with or otherwise have contact with, and when this is to occur.
When deciding whether to make a child arrangements order the Court will still consider the welfare checklist. Practically, they have the same effect as the contact and residence orders. On the face of it, very little appears to have changed, however as these orders are still relatively new the effect of these changes remains to be seen.
