Nicola joined Curzon Green in November 2019 and currently works as a family law solicitor specialising in financial issues and children law.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with First Class honours in English Literature and Language, Nicola spent 7 years working for a global educational publishing company. In 2017 she decided to realise her long-held ambition of becoming a solicitor, and embarked on her legal training. She was awarded a Distinction on completion of the Graduate Diploma in Law and then went on to achieve a Master of Laws, having studied the LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) Course at BPP University. Nicola achieved a Distinction across all Legal Practice Course modules.
Whilst studying, Nicola gained work experience across a range of different legal environments. As well as volunteering for Support Through Court (a charity set-up to support litigants in person), Nicola has acted as a Student Assistant for the BPP University Legal Advice Clinic. She has a keen interest in family law and completed her masters research project in this area.
In 2018, Nicola spent 4 months travelling across Asia and says that a real highlight was completing an Annapurna trek in Nepal. In her spare time, Nicola enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
